History of T&EE CRI
Technology & Engineering Education Component of the Curriculum Revitalization Initiative (CRI)

On February 28, 2006, a panel of experts met at the Springfield Offices of the Illinois Office of Educational Services to conduct a DACUM session for the Technology & Engineering Education Component of the Curriculum Revitalization Initiative. Nine experts from both education and industry worked together to produce a task set for Technology & Engineering Education orientation.

Using the tasks identified through the DACUM process, teams of teacher/writers wrote lesson plans, Power Point presentations, and assessments for the orientation-level course in Technology & Engineering Education. Below is an example of their work and of what will be available as a resource on the upcoming CD release. Please watch the tutorial before viewing the sample lesson.
